How do I lock my BYOC contract for signing?

Locking freezes the contract so signatures can be collected. Click "Ready for Signatures" in the toolbar to start the validation.

Pre-Lock Validation

The system checks for issues before allowing you to lock:

Blocking Errors (must fix)

• No parties added.
• Party missing an email address.
• Required fields left empty.
• Signature blocks not assigned to a party.
• A party without any signature block.

Warnings (non-blocking)

• Optional fields left empty.
• Low-confidence fields not verified.

If credits have already been spent for this BYOC agreement, the validation dialog may offer a PDF preview. Otherwise, use the in-app editor or PDF canvas to verify layout before unlocking signing.
