BYOC

Can I regenerate a BYOC reconstruction if it looks wrong?

Yes. If an editable PDF reconstruction missed content, produced the wrong structure, or extracted a poor draft, use Regenerate from the BYOC reconstruction banner while the agreement is still in Draft.

When to use regeneration

  • The uploaded PDF was correct, but the editable version looks incomplete.
  • Sections, fields, or parties were detected incorrectly.
  • The system produced a stale or obviously wrong reconstruction.
  • You want to retry the reconstruction before manually editing the draft.

What regeneration does

  1. Reruns BYOC reconstruction from the original saved source document.
  2. Replaces the current editor content, sections, fields, parties, and wizard steps.
  3. Keeps the same draft agreement record so you can continue from the refreshed result.
Important: Regeneration overwrites manual edits, adjusted fields, parties, and editor content. Use it before investing time in manual cleanup. Reconstructed regenerations are free, but the number of attempts is limited.

If you uploaded the wrong PDF or need to use a different source file, use re-upload instead of regeneration.
