Why can't I edit my agreement anymore?

Your agreement becomes read-only in these situations:

  • Status is locked: Once an agreement reaches "Ready to Sign" or beyond, editing is restricted to protect document integrity.
  • You're not the owner: Only the agreement owner or users with edit permissions can modify content.
  • Agreement is completed/signed: Finalized agreements cannot be edited. Consider creating an Amendment instead.
Tip: To modify a completed agreement, use the Amendment feature in the Marketplace.
