What happens when I click 'Lock for Signing'?
When you click "Lock for Signing" (or complete the Review step), several things happen:
- Content Freeze: The agreement content becomes read-only. No more edits are allowed.
- Status Change: Status updates to Ready to Sign.
- Notifications: All invited participants receive a notification that the agreement is ready.
- Signing Enabled: The "Sign" button becomes active for all parties.
Important: If you need to make changes after locking, use Reopen for Editing. The agreement returns to Draft, active signatures are cleared from the current version, and all parties must review and sign the next locked revision.
